Samsung Galaxy Tab doesn't charge - you can do that
If your Samsung Galaxy Tab stops charging, there can be several reasons. We'll show you why and how to fix it.
Samsung Galaxy Tab no longer charges: the charging adapter is often to blame
- On some models, the included charging adapter from Samsung is to blame for the problem. Especially when the Galaxy Tab is completely discharged, it is no longer charged.
- The charging adapters are designed in such a way that you only start charging when the battery is powered. If the battery is completely empty, the charging adapter does not recognize the device and does not charge it.
- Simply use a different power supply. Numerous users report that it works extremely well with an iPhone's power supply, for example.

- Dust: Dust accumulates in many charging sockets over time. If the dust blocks the contacts, charging is not possible. It is best to remove the dust with a toothbrush, not with metal objects.
- Connection: If the cable has been inserted incorrectly or the tablet has become damp, the connection may be defective. You can't avoid a repair here.
- Battery: If the device has not been used for a long time, there may be a deep discharge. In this case, the tablet takes a while to do anything on the display. A defect in the battery is also possible.
- Cable: Try charging your Galaxy Tab with a different cable. Non-original cables wear out quickly.
