If you don't know how long your Samsung device is still under warranty, you can check it online. We'll show you how it's done.
Samsung: Check warranty status manually
- Samsung usually grants a 1 or 2 year warranty. In some cases, the guarantee is only 3 or up to 12 months. You can find out which products are covered by which guarantee and what you need to consider in the Samsung guarantee regulations.
- The period always starts from the date of purchase from the authorized dealer. You will find the purchase date on the receipt or invoice.
- If you do not have the receipt at hand, you can inquire about the warranty status via the serial number from Samsung. We will show you how this works in the next paragraph.
Samsung: Check warranty status online
- Open the Samsung service portal and click on "Register now" under the "Register" button on the left.
- Enter your contact details and open the confirmation link that you will receive by email.
- Once you have confirmed your account, you will be asked to log in. You will now be redirected to the service portal.
- Click on "My registered products" in the top right corner and enter all the required data for the product.
- The device is saved in your name using the "Register" button. You can then select it and check the warranty status.
