- First, make sure you have the latest driver for your graphics card installed. To do this, go to the manufacturer's website or use Windows Update.
- You should also make sure that DirectX is up to date. To do this, run Windows Update and install all available updates.
- You should also check if there are any updates for the game. To do this, right click on Sims 4 in Origin and select "Update Game".
- You can also fix the game in Origin. Right click on Sims 4 in Origin and select "Fix Game".
- If you get the message that you have an "invalid license" when the crash occurs, change to the Sims 4 installation folder ("C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Origin Games \ The Sims 4 \"). Then open the folder "__installer"> "vc"> "vc2013" and "redist". Run the Visual C ++ Redistrubatable there to fix the problem.
- If you can't fix the error with these tips, you should try reinstalling the game. After uninstalling, however, you should still manually delete all files and folders that are left.
