TomTom: Change language - so it'll work
If you have set the language incorrectly on your TomTom or if you want to change it for other reasons, the process can be carried out directly on the navigation system. We'll show you exactly how to do this with TomTom.
Change the language on the TomTom navigation system
Note: Depending on the device, some of the following steps may differ slightly in the description and arrangement.
- Switch on your TomTom navigation system and open the menu by pressing the screen.
- Select the category "Settings" or "Options" and then "Language".
- Now search for the desired language, select it and then confirm the change.
- Now the TomTom speaks to you in the selected language. You can undo the change at any time in the same way.
- If you don't like the voice, you can download additional TomTom voices for free.
