Vodafone: take your connection with you when you move - how it works
You can take your Vodafone connection with you when you move. All you have to do is enter the new address and set a move date. We'll show you how to take your Vodafone DSL or LTE connection with you when you move.
Relocation: Check Vodafone availability at the new address
- Before you apply for the move, you should check the availability at your new place of residence.
- If your current package is not available, contact Vodafone customer support.
- Another offer may be available for you. If not, you can terminate the contractual relationship with Vodafone.
Vodafone connection: Apply for a move
You can apply for the move online in a few minutes. If possible, do this four to six weeks before moving.
- Log in to MeinVodafone with your data. If you do not have a login, you can alternatively use the relocation form.
- First enter the new address and click "Next".
- Now select a move date. You can switch on and off on the same appointment or choose both appointments independently. Click on Continue".
- If the area code does not change, you can take your landline number with you. To do this, activate the option "Call number transfer required".
- Now decide whether you want to take your tariff with you without changes, make a change or choose a new tariff. If you do not choose a new tariff, a fee of around 40 euros will be charged. If you choose a new tariff, the contract term is set to 24 months again.
- In the next step, enter the details for the specified address so that the connection can be switched. If you have the name and telephone number of the previous tenant and the transfer of the data has been agreed with the person, please also enter them. So Vodafone can switch the connection faster.
- To complete, you have to accept the legal information and then click on "Assign". You will shortly receive a confirmation and information about how Vodafone will proceed by email.
