Windows: Network not available - this may be the reason
To be able to surf the Internet, you must be connected to your network. If this is not available, the problem can usually be solved quickly. In this practical tip, we will tell you what you can do about it.
Network is not available on Windows - you can do that
- Right click on the Windows icon at the bottom left and select "Command Prompt (Administrator)".
- Confirm this process by clicking "Yes" or "Allow".
- Then enter the following commands in the command prompt and confirm with [Enter]: netsh winsock reset catalog netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
- These commands reset the Windows settings for the saved networks, which can fix problems.
- Then restart your PC and try again to establish a connection.
- If this tip does not work, you should update your network adapter driver.
