To make settings on Windows, you have to open the Control Panel. We'll show you where to find Control Panel in Windows 7, 8, and 10.
Open Control Panel on Windows 10
Note: If you open the "Settings" in the Start menu, you will also find some important functions that have not been placed in Control Panel since Windows 10.
- Click on the Windows icon in the lower left so that the Start menu opens.

- Press the Windows key on your keyboard so that you get to the start screen.
- Now type in "System": A search bar opens that contains the "Control Panel" as the first result.
- If you select this, the Control Panel opens and you can configure your PC.

- Click the Windows button at the bottom right of the screen to open the Start menu.
- On the right side you will see the menu item "Control Panel". Click on it.
- The control panel will now open.
