Windows: Shortcut for registered characters

Here we show you which keyboard shortcut you have to use for the registered character under Windows.

You cannot enter the registered character directly with any key. However, you can insert it with a shortcut:

• Press and hold the [Alt] key. Then type "0174" on your numeric keypad. When you release the Alt key, the character appears.
• If the key combination does not work, you can also insert the registered character using Copy & Paste: ®.

As a Mac user, you have to use a different shortcut for the Registered character.
