If there are connection problems, an exact error message is often not displayed. Therefore it is difficult to find the mistake. Proceed as follows:
- Check whether you are connected to the Internet and whether, for example, a LAN cable is connected or the WLAN connection is intact.
- Go to the Microsoft website for information about the current service status. There may be a problem with Microsoft.
- Press the menu button on your controller and then switch to "Settings"> "Network". Select the "Test network connection" option on the right. If this is positive, your console is set up correctly and connected to the Internet.
- The servers are often overloaded. So try again after a few minutes.
- In the "console info" in the system settings you can find out whether an update is available. Install this if necessary.
- If you still cannot establish a connection to the server, you can only contact Xbox One Support.
